Austin, Texas Compassion focused somatic therapy for stressed, tired, anxious humans

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

You're good at keeping it together. Really good, actually.

You show up, you deliver, you take care of the people around you. From the outside, your life probably looks pretty solid. But privately there's this quiet, persistent feeling that something is off. That you've somehow drifted from yourself. That the life you're living — as good as it looks on paper — doesn't quite fit the way it used to.

You might not even call it a problem. It's more like a low hum underneath everything. A vague restlessness. A sense that you've been so busy tending to everyone else that you've lost the thread back to yourself.

That’s exactly what I’m here for.

A space that's completely yours.

In our sessions together you'll probably find something rare — a place to slow down, set down the weight of constant performing and doing, and get genuinely curious about what's happening underneath. Not to fix you. (Believe it or not, YOU actually don't need fixing) But to help you understand yourself more deeply, respond to yourself more compassionately, and gradually find your way back to a life that feels like yours.

What we'll work toward together:

  • Easing the anxiety and restlessness that hums beneath the surface

  • Understanding your nervous system's patterns — with curiosity instead of judgment

  • Loosening the grip of people-pleasing, over-responsibility, and self-criticism

  • Reconnecting with your body and your own inner wisdom

  • Reclaiming a sense of ease, creativity, and genuine aliveness

  • Learning practical tools for regulation that work in real life

My approach

As a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I draw from a range of evidence-based and body-based approaches — including EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, mindfulness, and somatic practices. But more than any specific technique, what shapes how I work is a deep belief that your struggles make sense. That your nervous system has been doing its best. And that healing happens not through willpower or insight alone, but through feeling genuinely safe enough to let something shift.

Some sessions will be practical — learning tools, building skills, shifting patterns. Others will be quieter and more exploratory. We follow what you need.

Why therapy with me?

When you work with me one on one, you're not just getting techniques — you're getting a partner who will walk beside you as you begin to reclaim yourself. I bring both professional training and my own lived experience of this journey to every session. I absolutely believe that when you can access your own inner wisdom, you will make choices that are healthier, truer, and more connected.

If you've been carrying more than your share for too long — therapy can be the place where you finally set it down.

You don't have to keep doing this alone.
