Austin, Texas Compassion focused somatic therapy for stressed, tired, anxious humans

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will I be in therapy?

It's different for everyone. Everyone has unique needs when they decide to come to therapy. Regardless,  therapy is process that can take time. Generally, I encourage people to commit to eight weeks of weekly therapy  at the beginning to build some change momentum. After eight weeks, we can reevaluate and decide what is the best course of treatment.

What are your fees?

Each 50 minute session is $195.

Payment is due in full at the time of service. I accept cash, debit and credit cards.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, and if you cancel or reschedule your session less than 24 hours in advance you will be charged the full fee for the session.

Do you take my insurance

What if I have concerns/complaints about my therapy?

What if I want a copy of my records?

For most insurances, I am considered an out-of-network provider. This means that the insurance company may cover a portion of the session fee.

The best way to figure out if you have insurance benefits would be for you to call your insurance company directly. Generally you can find the number on the back of your insurance card (if there's a specific behavioral health number, call that one). When you call, ask about your "outpatient, out of network mental health benefits".

While most concerns between a client and counselor can be resolved directly, there may be situations that require additional support. In compliance with the State of Texas, the information below is provided should you wish to file a report.
