“For a women's circle to be safe, it must be a womb space for new possibilities… Where the woman and her dream can be supported…when it is barely formed, and still in the dark. When the psyche of a woman is pregnant with an idea of what she could do or become.”
—Jean Shinoda Bolen
Are you in a transition of some sort?
Are you ready for something different but not quite sure what that is?
Did the pandemic leave you longing for a greater sense of meaningful, connected community?
Are you longing for a safe place to discuss and focus on your wellness in the midst of changing and often-challenging circumstances?
Come join a committed small circle of women and Discover where you are on your Journey to Wholeness.
Gather with other women committed to exploring their Body-Mind-Spirit expression!
Tune into what informs your senses,
Assess your current state of balance and wellness...
Learn important lessons about change,
Share decisions that you are making in your life
Set goals for changes you feel called to make.
Build friendships and support for your self care and “wholeness”
Say goodbye to 2023 and prepare for 2024.
Our Circle was created by the following beliefs:
1. We all already know what we need to do in order to become more whole.
2. We co-create wellness in relationship with others; this journey requires the care and support of others.
3. Slowing down and tuning in to the body's many messages is essential to becoming well and whole
This program provides both a structure and a process for the individual and communal dimensions of this journey. Our program will help you discover and name what you already know (although you may not be aware that you know it!), and with the support of others, help you to risk taking action steps to make the changes you truly desire!
We will meet on Mondays this fall starting on October 16 at 12 pm. We will offer structured discussions, facilitated weekly PolyVagal informed Somatic Experiencing®/embodiment experiences as well as (completely optional!) structured writing prompts for self exploration
Facilitators:
Sally Bennett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) & Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) who believes that women are the stronger sex and is a life long feminist! She is committed to supporting women of all ages to break free from rules that don’t serve them and to reclaim their power and purpose so they can live authentically. She is dedicated to helping women reconnect with themselves—mind, body and spirit. Nothing is more exciting to her than seeing a woman get comfortable in her own skin She is also particularly passionate about helping women recover from the “Mean Girl” wounding that keeps women out of connection and trust with themselves and with one another. She believes that women are even more powerful when they have the support of what she calls “safe sisters”.!
She owns her own therapy practice where she enjoys and considers it a privilege to work with women of all ages who are navigating the many transitions of womanhood. She is trained in a number of therapy modalities and uses a blend of cognitive and somatic interventions in her work with clients.
Vivian Best believes in the value of social connection and the process of creating support in our modern lives with and beyond our devices. She inspires positive change, building thoughtful communities to bring greater awareness and hope for growth, change, and possibility through her work. Vivian is a facilitator for conversational and public speaking events; she is a WomanSpeak Circle Leader and Trainer and has used Sparked, tools from the School of Womanly Arts and Esther Perel's "Where Should We Begin" Game of Questions to support her community to create meaningful connections, share resources, and take initiative in their lives by helping them to bring their voices to what truly matters. Vivian is also a Feldenkrais Practitioner teaching self-aware self-care. Her compassionate guidance helps bring a sense of pleasure in movement and ease to her clients. She offers regular Awareness Through Movement classes. Vivian loves supporting clients to move with more freedom and grace in their lives.
